One late afternoon in autumn, I walked through a forest bathed in soft, grazing light. The low sun filtered through trunks and foliage, shaping a natural backlight full of nuance and depth.
Each beam slipped between the trees, casting long shadows across the ground and illuminating the last leaves still clinging to their branches. The undergrowth glowed with golden and copper hues, typical of autumn, in an atmosphere that felt both silent and warm.
In this golden hour, I sought to capture the subtlety of the moment: the vertical rhythm of the trunks, the depth created by layers of trees, and the fleeting transparency of backlit leaves. A fragile balance between structure and light.
Scenes like this may seem simple at first, but they require patient observation. It is not the forest alone, nor the light by itself, but their precise encounter at this moment that creates the photograph.
