Architectural photography with a graphic eye
Lines, contrast, and abstraction – a graphic perspective on contemporary architecture
Style
Architectural photography
Location
Paris La Défense business district, London…
My approach to architectural photography is deliberately free and graphic. Outside any commercial framework, I develop a personal visual language in black and white, focused on the very essence of architectural forms. This body of work is an aesthetic exploration — a field of experimentation where I play with lines, curves, volumes, and textures to reveal their visual power. Buildings become material for creation, abstraction, and pure geometry.
Extreme contrast, assertive geometry
The choice of black and white is natural to enhance the tension between light and shadow. This intentionally bold treatment brings out the structure of each space: deep shadows, sharp reflections, and confident graphic compositions. Color fades to allow for a purer, almost sculptural interpretation. I use contrast like a cutting tool to expose the formal strength of each captured architecture.
A personal take on contemporary architecture
Whether it’s the towers of La Défense, the sleek facades of a contemporary museum, or the taut lines of an urban bridge, I always aim to offer a fresh, unconventional perspective on modern architecture. Detached from reality, I strive toward an abstract vision, where geometry and composition dominate. Each shot is conceived as a self-contained visual construction. At times, a human figure appears — tiny against the mass of concrete or glass — adding scale, breath, and narrative tension.
A boundless practice with a strong photographic identity
This portfolio isn’t tied to a single location. While La Défense remains a major photographic playground, my work extends far beyond Paris. Wherever architecture engages with light, I turn my gaze. My goal is less to document than to interpret — to transform the existing into autonomous images with a strong visual identity. My ambition: to reveal the aesthetic power of urban structures and offer a personal, graphic, and refined vision.
Each photograph is an invitation to see differently — to perceive something beyond function in the lines of a building or the curve of a footbridge. To consider architecture as raw material to be elevated. This portfolio expresses that singular, uncompromising vision of the forms shaping our cities.
Like any photographer, I work with light, angles, and curves, but I refuse to confine myself to a single style.
My visual language shifts according to the place, the structure, and the inspiration of the moment. What remains constant is a graphic precision and a continuous search for balance between abstraction, tension, and harmony.
