2025 Photo Selection: 20 Images by Sebastien Desnoulez
Each year, I create several hundred images in very different contexts: architecture, landscapes, scouting, personal projects. I wanted to revisit all the photos from 2025 and select a tighter group. Not a best-of, nor a representative overview of the year, but simply 20 images I enjoyed revisiting and editing—because they hold up, because I like them, or because they offer a slightly different perspective.
A simple, non-hierarchical selection
This selection wasn’t based on a series or a theme. Some images are part of a broader set, others were taken with no specific intention but turned out to be interesting afterward. There’s no ranking or priority—just 20 images among other possible choices.
They include well-known places like London, Florence, Valletta or Paris, as well as less familiar ones. Some photographs play with lines, blur or texture. Others are more direct or narrative. The selection is deliberately open.
Presentation
All visuals are shown in floating frames, a finish I regularly use for my fine art prints. It helps envision the image in an interior and keeps a discreet, glass-free frame that lets the photograph breathe.
Photographs marked with an asterisk (*) are available as limited edition fine art prints, with certificate of authenticity, through the fine art photography gallery Une image pour rêver.
If you wish to acquire any of the other images under the same conditions (paper, formats, framing), feel free to contact me directly via the contact form.
