Nikon AF-S 24mm f/1.8G ED Photography Test – Low Light Performance in Paris
Can a wide-angle lens perform well in low light? I took advantage of Nuit Blanche in Paris to test the Nikon 24mm f/1.8G ED wide open. The sharpness was stunning.
Real-world sharpness at f/1.8. I took advantage of Nuit Blanche in Paris to test my wide-angle Nikon AF-S 24mm f/1.8G ED in challenging light conditions.
Our nighttime stroll took us to Les Invalides, where we visited the Dome housing Napoleon I’s tomb. There was no pressure to deliver results, so I simply set my camera to aperture priority mode with Auto ISO.
The images below were shot at f/1.8. The level of sharpness is truly impressive!
