A Discover-compliant introduction: Highlighting industrial precision through photography: over 180 electronic components were captured in just five days, with outstanding lighting quality and technical mastery—resulting in a consistent and professional image bank, ready for both web and print.
In just five days of intensive shooting, all products were photographed with flawless lighting quality. The result: sharp, coherent visuals requiring no post-production editing—proof of a high level of technical expertise.
EOZ specializes in electronic components (industrial keyboards, push-buttons, switches, etc.), which demand precise lighting to reveal every detail. For certain series — notably the photos of keyboards and electronic components — the Nikon NIKKOR PC-E Micro 85mm f/2.8D, a tilt-shift lens, was used. Designed for close-up photography, this lens features tilt and shift movements similar to those of large format view cameras (4×5″ or 8×10″) traditionally used in studio product photography. By applying the Scheimpflug principle — an optical rule that allows the plane of focus to align with the subject plane when tilting the lens — it was possible to significantly extend the depth of field, ensuring optimal sharpness and accurate rendering of technical details.
This experience demonstrates the importance of studio product photography to enhance the value of technical or industrial equipment. Thanks to this approach, EOZ now has a high-quality, visually consistent image library that reinforces its professional credibility with clients and partners.
