Visual poetry, striking black and white, and classical music: discover the video Arctic Emotion by Kyriakos Kaziras — a sensitive tribute to polar bears and the frozen beauty of the Arctic.
This short film was created to accompany the release of the book Arctic Emotion, featuring texts by Nikos Aliagas. It showcases a curated selection of fine art wildlife photographs in black and white, capturing the strength and gentleness of polar bears. The images are set to the rhythm of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, performed by Vladimir Spivakov, enhancing the emotional and contemplative power of the film.
The video editing was entrusted to Sebastien Desnoulez, with the mission to convey the visual purity and silent atmosphere of the Arctic. This audiovisual harmony between imagery and music pays tribute to the majestic landscapes of the polar regions and the fragility of the species that inhabit them.
